Founded in 1991 through a strategic partnership with Replique, a renowned French knitwear manufacturer, La Maillerie has evolved into a leading premium knitwear manufacturer based in Casablanca, Morocco. With over 35 years of expertise, we have perfected the art of blending luxury craftsmanship with Moroccan production efficiency, serving some of the most prestigious names in the fashion industry.
Our strong relationships with renowned yarn manufacturers from Italy, Scotland, and Austria allow us to source the finest materials, ensuring we deliver tailor-made solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and sustainability. Our track record speaks for itself: a 10-year collaboration with Christian Dior exemplifies our commitment to excellence, while our weekly exports to Armor Lux for over 25 years and 10+ years of partnership with Maison Kitsuné highlight our ability to build long-term relationships and deliver consistency across generations of collections.
Today, we proudly serve clients across Europe, the Nordics, and the United States, offering a significant competitive advantage on customs duties for exports to both the EU and US, thanks to Morocco’s Free Trade Agreements. Additionally, our logistics edge enables 3-4 day truck transport for imports and exports across Europe, ensuring seamless and efficient operations.
Equipped with 90+ Shima Seiki SSR112 flat knitting machines (gauge 5 to 14) and a dedicated team of 200+ skilled employees, La Maillerie operates with a yearly production capacity of 500,000 pieces, ensuring we meet both large-scale and bespoke production needs with precision and care.

Founder & CEO
Established La Maillerie in 1991, bringing his background in engineering and corporate banking to the company. A graduate of Lycée Louis-le-Grand and Ecole des Mines, he previously served as Vice President at Bank of America across Paris, London, Madrid, and Bahrain. His leadership and vision have laid the foundation for La Maillerie’s growth and stability.
Kamil Harouchi
Chief Development Officer
Joined La Maillerie in 2024, bringing experience from investment banking. A graduate of Paris-Dauphine and ESSEC Business School, he focuses on developing client relationships and exploring new opportunities. Kamil is committed to building on La Maillerie’s reputation and fostering connections with our partners.
Mouna El Achaari
Chief Operating Officer
With La Maillerie since 1993, Mouna plays a key role in overseeing production and quality control. She holds a Master’s degree in Computer Sciences and Engineering and is dedicated to ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. Her long-standing experience is essential to La Maillerie’s consistent quality.
Aziz Fahim
Chief Technical Officer
Began with La Maillerie in 1994 as a technician and now leads our technical operations. With a knitting degree (BTS) from Troyes University, he oversees programming and machinery operations, ensuring a blend of traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques that support our production quality.
